Disabled Access Certification (D.A.C)
A Disabled Access Certificate is a certificate of compliance granted by the Building Control Authority. It is typically required for new buildings other than private residential dwellings to demonstrate compliance with part M of the Building Regulations. An application must be made to the Local Authority and contains the following:
Completed application form.
Appropriate fees.
Site plans, elevations and technical details demonstrating compliance with Part M.
